Megans Baked Cheesecake Recipe

This cheesecake recipe is a winner every time and its super easy to prepare. You can change the flavoring of the cheesecake to make it exactly what you feel like on the night (or day...!)

100g melted butter

185 crushed biscuits (vanilla wine or malt)

250g cream cheese

3/4 cup sour cream

2 eggs

1/2 cup caster sugar

1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries

1/4 cup chocolate buttons

 

1.  Mix melted butter and crushed biscuits together

2.  Press into a greased and lined 20 cm round baking tin

3. Beat cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, caster sugar together in whiz or using stick blender

4. Pour cream cheese mixture over biscuit base

5. Drop the berries over the cream cheese mixture evenly

6. Chop the chocolate buttons up and sprinkle them over the berries

7. Bake for aprox 35minutes in a moderate oven (180* fanbake) or until set and slightly golden.

8. Let cool on bench and then put in fridge to chill

 

If you want to be a little bit fancy you could serve with berry coulis and cream - guaranteed to be a winner!
