After having a few quieter months due to our new daughter arriving at the end of September its now time to ramp things up again! And what better time than with Christmas nearly here and a new year just around the corner!
One of the best things for me about Christmas is the delicious festive creations that I whip up in the kitchen and share with friends and family. Sharing a meal which includes something that you have made from scratch is so satisfying, and seeing people enjoy the food you have prepared really does leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling.
This week I am getting prepared for making batches of truffles, biscuits and mini neenish tarts to give as gifts to people who have helped us throughout the year as a little thank you. Home cooked treats goes a long way and people definitely appreciate the time and effort that has gone into fresh baking! Christmas for us is about spending quality time with the people we love, and best of all – sharing stories and creating memories while sharing a delicious meal...... Happy Christmas everyone!
